How To Get To Paseo de Magallanes?

Paseo de Magallanes is a prime commercial complex located in Magallanes Village along SLEX (almost corner of EDSA). The focus of the place is for rest and recreation as well as provide an alternative to unwind from the hustling and bustling business district of Makati.

Paseo de Magallanes is home to the following attractions:

1. Business centers such as Oakridge Plaza, Maga Center, Tritan Plaza, South Park Plaza, Gateway Center, BMG Centre
2. Auto shops such as Rapide Auto Service Center and Honda Cars Makati.
3. Restaurants such as Racks Restaurant, Shakey's, Brothers Burgers, Dencio's Bar and Grill, Rai Rai Ken, Pancake House, Jaemark's Runa Grille, Bob's
4. International cuisine restaurants such as Magyar Hungarian Restaurant, Amelia's Spanish Restaurant, Malai Thai Cuisine, Kim Garden (Taiwanese Restaurant), Dayrit's (known for their roast beef), Furusato's Japanese Restaurant, Kublai's Rock (Mongolian)
5. Rustan's Supermarket and the Weekend Bazaar and wet/dry market
6. Starbucks and Pancake House where most meet-ups happen
7. Koi Village Pet Mall - top destination for field trips these days.
8. Sports store Mizuno
9. Banks are also in the area - BPI, BDO, Metrobank, Bank of Commerce
10. Singapore School Manila and Sky Academy are also located here.
11. Shell Magallanes, which houses Jollibee and Max's Restaurant, is also nearby
12. Alphaland Southgate Mall is also nearby - the building is just beside the Magallanes MRT Station.

Directions on how to get to Paseo de Magallanes:

From the North (Quezon City/Pasig Area):
Option 1. From EDSA, ride a bus southbound to Baclaran:

Sub-Option A. Get down at Malibay, Pasay and cross EDSA via the footbridge. From Malibay, take a jeepney bound for SM Mall of Asia or Alabang. Ask the driver to drop you off Paseo de Magallanes. This is most recommended for first time travelers as this is the most convenient.

Sub-Option B. Get down at Magallanes MRT Station/Mantrade. Walk towards Magallanes Park (this is under the flyover) and cross SLEX via the footbridge. You then need to walk a bit through another park and cross towards Paseo de Magallanes. This route is taken by people mostly familiar in the area (as this is supposed to be the shortest/cheapest route because the rest if walking).

Option 2. From EDSA, ride a bus southbound to Alabang:

Sub-Option A. Get down at Magallanes MRT Station/Mantrade. Walk towards Magallanes Park (this is under the flyover) and cross SLEX via the footbridge. You then need to walk a bit through another park and cross towards Paseo de Magallanes. This route is taken by people mostly familiar in the area (as this is supposed to be the shortest/cheapest route because the rest if walking).

*Two years ago, buses bound for Alabang can drop off passengers in front of Paseo de Magallanes, however, traffic enforcers have prohibited them from doing so to smoothen traffic.

Option 3. From EDSA, ride the MRT bound for Taft:

Sub-Option A. Get down at Taft Avenue Station in Pasay and ride a jeepney bound for SM Mall of Asia or Alabang. Ask the driver to drop you off Paseo de Magallanes. This is most recommended for first time travelers as this is the most convenient.

From the South (Sucat/Alabang):

Option 1. Ride a jeepney bound for Pasay Rotonda or SM Mall of Asia and get down at Magallanes, then walk towards Paseo de Magallanes

Option 2. Ride a bus bound for Cubao/Fairview/Monumento and get down at Magallanes MRT Station/Mantrade. Walk towards Magallanes Park (this is under the flyover) and cross SLEX via the footbridge. You then need to walk a bit through another park and cross towards Paseo de Magallanes. This route is taken by people mostly familiar in the area (as this is supposed to be the shortest/cheapest route because the rest if walking).

* If you are coming further down south (outside Metro Manila), there are also buses bound for Manila (most of them have Lawton in their signboard) or Buendia that you can take. Get down at Magallanes and walk towards Paseo de Magallanes.

If you are coming from Pasay/Baclaran, you can ride an LRT to EDSA Station and ride a jeepney bound for Alabang, Sucat, or any destination along SLEX and that will pass by Paseo de Magallanes.

If you are coming from Makati, you can try the following routes: (1) take the jeepney route PRC-Mantrade along Pasong Tamo and get down at Mantrade/Magallanes and walk towards Paseo de Magallanes, (2) take the jeepney route Libertad-Pasay Road via SLEX and get down at Magallanes by the U-turn under the flyover, (3) take the jeepney route Buendia-Evangelista and get down at Mercury Drugstore on Evangelista near EDSA and just walk towards Paseo de Magallanes.

If you are Taguig or Pateros (C-5 Area), take the jeepney going to Gate 3 Fort Bonifacio. When you get to Gate 3, ride a jeepney bound for Pasay Rotonda or SM Mall of Asia, get down at Magallanes-EDSA and walk towards Paseo de Magallanes.

For private vehicles: Paseo de Magallanes is along South Super Highway (and near its intersection to EDSA). If you are coming from Manila passing through South Super Highway or EDSA coming from the north, take the Magallanes flyover bound for SLEX and Paseo de Magallanes is on the right side a few hundred meters after descending from the flyover. If you are coming from the south through SLEX, Paseo de Magallanes is by the left side and can be accessed via a U-Turn. If you are coming from Baclaran or SM Mall of Asia, take EDSA bound for Alabang; once you turn right towards SLEX, Paseo de Magallanes will be in sight.

Parking is only P15 flat rate.

Of course, you can ride a taxicab from any area around the metro and just mention "Paseo de Magallanes" or "Magallanes" and the driver already knows where to go.
